Biggest puppet installation
Vrinda Haldia and Umakant Meena, former students of Rajasthan School of Art, Jaipur, Rajasthan created the tallest puppet installation measuring 25 feet at the Jaipur Art Summit, held in Jaipur from Dec 7-11, 2016. It was part of a larger artwork titled ‘Puppet Installation on Women Empowerment’ which also included six puppets of 6 ft, two puppets of 4 ft and 150 puppets of 1 ft. They used iron mesh and paper-mache for the basic structure and completed the entire installation in 20 days.
