Biggest Rally of Women in Traditional Christian Attire
Kerala Latin Catholic Association (KLCA), Archdiocese of Verapoly, organized the world’s largest gathering of women dressed in traditional Christian attire at Kochi, Kerala, India on Dec 9, 2023. As a part of the ‘Paithrukam (Heritage) 2023’ programme, 4,500 women, all dressed in Chatta-Mund and Nadan-Kavaya, took part in a 4-hour parade from St Teresa’s College to Rajendra Maidan in Ernakulam.
