Blindfolded run, ladder climbing and longest nonstop hits on hip by heel on headstand
Fifty-year-old Lt Colonel Laxmidhar Bhuyan (b May 4, 1971), despite a 20% disability due to heel bone fracture, performed a unique 3-in-1 world record at Gyani Stadium, Artillery Centre, Nasik Road Camp, Maharashtra on August 15, 2021. Blindfolded, he ran 100 m in 1 minute holding an Indian Tricolour, climbed a 20-ft ladder in 5 seconds and performed 13,986 hits on hip by heel standing on Sirshasana (headstand) in 1 hr 12 min 3 sec on top of a 20-ft ladder fitted on a Maruti Gypsy, moving at 40 kmph and against windspeed of 70 kmph.
