Fastest 100 in loco production
Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), a manufacturing unit of Indian Railways, which produced 100 electric locomotives in 97 working days in 2019-20 setting a world record, has once again succeeded to dispatch another 100 electric locos in 102 working days in 2020-21, despite the restrictions and lockdowns related to the Covid-19 pandemic. The 100th loco (WAG9HC) was flagged off on Sept 8, 2020.
