Fastest motorcycling in a day was accomplished by Mansing Shivajirao Desai of Islampur, Sangli, Maharashtra, who covered 2,454 km in just 23 hr 57 min on Dec 17, 2017. Riding a Triumph Tiger XRX (800 cc) bike, he took off from Islampur at 00.01 am, proceeded up to Thirunelveli in Tamil Nadu and back ending his journey at Hebbal-Sankeshwar, Karnataka at 11.58 pm the same day.
