Kathak performance at most Himalayan Passes
Shruti Gupta (b August 15, 1987), a classical dancer from Solan, Himachal Pradesh performed Kathak at five Himalayan Passes situated between Manali, Himachal Pradesh and Leh, Jammu & Kashmir in two days from June 15-16, 2018. She danced at Rohtang La (13,051 ft), Baralacha La (16,400 ft), Nakee La (15,547 ft), Lachulung La (16,616 ft) and Tanglang La (17,582 ft), wearing the traditional Kathak costume under freezing conditions of the region.
