Largest / longest Kathakali by all-woman team
The world’s largest and longest Kathakali by an all-woman team was performed by a group of 66 female artistes, aged 8-54 years, at Chembai Memorial Govt Music College, Palakkad, Kerala, India on May 19, 2019. The 14-hour presentation titled ‘Sampoorna Ramayanam’ was staged under the guidance of Kalamandalam Venkittaraman of Kathakali Gramam, Kallekulangara, Palakkad.
