Largest Garudan Parava Performance
Nattukalakarakkoottam Ernakulam District Committee and Koottam Nattarivu Padanakendram, Arayankavu, Ernakulam jointly organized ‘Garudayanam’, the world’s largest Garudan Parava ensemble at Arayankavu Kshethra Maithanam, Ernakulam, Kerala, India on May 12, 2024. The hour-long folk dance event involved synchronized performance by a team of 333 artists — Garudan Parava (196), Chenda (31), Valamthala (27), Elathalam (28) and makeup (51).
