Largest hand hygiene awareness campaign by private healthcare institution
Sharp Sight Centre, a group of eye hospitals based in Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) organized an awareness campaign on hand hygiene simultaneously at its seven centres from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm on May 5, 2017, the World Hand Hygiene Day. The event involved approximately 2,000 people including patients and attendants, making it the largest such single-day campaign by a private healthcare institution in the country.
