Largest Kaala Kali performance
Nattukalakarakkoottam Thrissur Thekkan Meghala Committee and Kerala Folklore Academy jointly organised Thaiva Kala Sangamam 2019, which included the world’s largest Kaala Kali performance by 202 persons carrying 101 figures of oxen, besides folk songs and folk rhythms by 200 persons, Kutakutthi Kali and Mutiyattam by 50 persons each and Vatitthallu by 20 persons at Ayyankavu Ground, Irinjalakuda, Thrissur, Kerala from 5.00 pm on Dec 29, 2019. The hour-long performance had a total participation of 522 people.
