Largest ‘Onappattu’ Singing
Carmel Higher Secondary School, Chalakudy, Thrissur, Kerala, India organized the world’s largest Onappattu singing by school children at the school quadrangle on August 29, 2025. A group of 2,000 students, under the guidance of Principal Fr Jose Thanickal CMI and teachers, sang the traditional songs associated with Kerala’s Onam festival for 15 minutes.
