Largest Open-stage Singing Talent Hunt (Malayalam)
As part of its first anniversary celebrations, Lalitha Kalavedi Arts and Cultural Movement, Ernakulam, Kerala organized the country’s largest open-stage singing talent hunt in Malayalam from August - October 2025. Ten finalists, selected from 10 preliminary contests, participated in the grand finale held at Kumbalam Village, Panangad, Kochi on Oct 5, 2025. What made the event truly unique was its ‘democratic’ evaluation process, involving a large but competent panel of judges from the audience for each contest, e.g. the final had as many as 50 judges on the panel!
