Largest Thiruvathira dance performance abroad
Largest Thiruvathira dance performance outside the country of its origin, India, was staged by a group of 1,246 women at Etisalat Academy, Dubai, UAE on Oct 27, 2017. Dressed in Kerala’s traditional set sari, the women danced for more than 20 minutes. They were trained by Kairali Kalakendram. The Mega Thiruvathira @ Dubai programme was part of the cultural event ‘Pooram 2017’ organized by Crystal Top Events and Canopy Security Services, Dubai.
