Largest ‘Vachana Pookalam’
A group comprising 416 students and 40 teachers of the Sunday Catechism Unit of St George’s Church, Mukkattukara, Archdiocese of Thrissur, Kerala, India successfully created the world’s largest ‘Vachana Pookalam’ (modelled on Kerala’s traditional floral carpet), measuring 1,365.81 square feet, in just 3 hours on Sept 13, 2025. They used 21,853 sticky notes in four colours, each featuring handwritten verses from the entire Holy Bible in Malayalam.
