Longest ghazal

At 73 years, Vijender ‘Ghafil’ Bhardwaj (b April 17, 1947) of Bhiwani, Haryana, India wrote the longest ghazal consisting 11,000 couplets (sher) in 2015. Titled 11,000 Titliyaan (Butterflies), the book has all couplets written in both Hindi and Arabic, taking the total count to 22,000!
