Longest Marathon Delivery of Indira Gandhi Speeches
To mark the National Integration Day (celebrated on the birthday of India’s first woman prime minister on Nov 19), Sacred Heart Convent Girls Higher Secondary School (SH CGHSS), Thrissur, Kerala, India successfully organized the world’s longest speech marathon reproducing different speeches of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on the theme of women empowerment continuously for 12 hours from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on Nov 15, 2025. The event involved 376 students, each delivering an average 2-minute speech.
