Longest rail-road bridge in the country
The 4.94 km long Bogibeel Bridge over the Brahmaputra river in Assam is India’s longest rail-road bridge. The bridge, inaugurated on Dec 25, 2018, reduces the distance of rail journey between Dibrugarh in Assam and Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh by 750 km.
