Longest tapioca root
Ramachandran M V alias MV Ramachandran Udayavarman (b Jan 1, 1959) and wife Prasanna harvested the longest tapioca root from their homestead in Chembrakanam, Thimiri, Kasaragod, Kerala on March 22, 2021. The 187.5 cm long tuber, weighing 4.65 kg, measured taller than the farmers themselves! They had planted the crop in June 2020.
