Most hair donations in shortest time
As part of its Ruby Jubilee (1978-2018) celebrations, Bharathamatha Higher Secondary School, Chandranagar, Palakkad, Kerala organized a mass hair donation camp for cancer patients at the school premises on December 8, 2018. With 322 persons turning up for hair donation from 11.30 am – 12.00 noon, the event set a new record – Most people donating hair in shortest time. The collected hair, weighing 10.02 kg, was handed over to the NGO, Hair Bank – Thrissur to make wigs for cancer patients.
