Most people whistling together
The Indian Whistlers’ Association (IWA) conducted the country’s largest musical whistling event at the Municipal Corporation Town Hall, Kochi, Kerala on Feb 25, 2018 under the leadership of Rigveda Deshpandey (Founder-President) and Jyothi Kamath (Spokesperson, Kerala Zone). A group of 150 whistlers from across the country and abroad whistled in unison the songs ‘Saare Jahan se Achha’ and ‘Hum Honge Kamyab’ using a karaoke track. The songs lasted 8 minutes, including the whistling part of 5 min 30 sec.
