Turning his birthday celebration into a movement for a cleaner and greener environment, Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, the prince of Udaipur, Rajasthan, India launched ‘Vriksh Hi Jeevan Abhiyaan’, a green initiative in which 4,035 persons including school students, Indian Army personnel and the public planted as many saplings simultaneously in less than a minute on January 28, 2020.
