Most Scoliosis patients fitted with orthotics and trained in the shortest time
Jaya Rehabilitation Institute & Research Center, run by Shree Bidada Sarvodaya Trust, Bidada, Kutch, Gujarat, conducted Orthotic and Physio-Occupational Therapy Management on eight Scoliosis patients on Nov 17, 2018. The patients were screened, orthosis decided, moulded and fitted, besides giving them detailed exercise programme and training in Donning & Doffing method by Dr Mukesh Doshi, Dr Veerendra Shandilya, Sipra Lenka and team – all within 10 hours from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. [Scoliosis is a medical condition in which a person’s spine has a sideways curve, usually an ‘S’ or ‘C’- shaped curve in the back.]
