Ramayana series without artificial colours and human images (world record)
Artist Manu Kallikad (b June 7, 1961) of Malappuram, Kerala created ‘Varayanam – An Epic of Earth’, a unique Ramayana series of 40 paintings on a 3×2 feet canvas, composed without artificial colours and human images! He used different coloured soil collected from various parts of the country. The first exhibition was conducted by Kozhikode Bank Men’s Association at Kozhikode Lalithakala Academy Arts Gallery, Kozhikode from August 27-31, 2016.
