Spearheading a new literary form
P P Mohanakumar, known as ‘Vennala Mohan’, (b May 18, 1961) of Thripunithura, Ernakulam, Kerala introduced ‘Nurungukal’, a new literary form in Malayalam literature. Neither a poem nor a story, it’s a molecular form of prose expressing various social, cultural, philosophical and spiritual nuances in minimum words (just as a tiny molecule possesses all properties of a large substance). He has been publishing them in various magazines and books.
