Tallest Indian tricolour
The tallest Indian tricolour within the country flutters at Attari village in Amritsar, Punjab, 3 km from the Indo-Pakistani border at Wagah. It was hoisted on March 5, 2017. The 120 ft long and 80 ft wide flag hoisted on a 360 ft (110 m) tall pole can be spotted from Lahore in Pakistan. The Punjab government project was undertaken by the Amritsar Improvement Trust.
