World’s first health book published in Braille (Hindi)
Dr Sujata Sanjay (b July 8, 1980), an obstetrician & gynaecologist from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India published Mahila Darpan, the world’s first health book in Braille (Hindi) for the visually impaired on Dec 5, 2018. The book deals with women’s health issues such as hormonal imbalance, pregnancy complications & prevention, anaemia, thyroid dysfunction, dysmenorrhea, cervical cancer etc.
