World’s largest astrophysics lesson and assembly of spectroscopes
As part of the India International Science Festival – 2019, a group of 1,598 students of classes 6-11 from across West Bengal attended a 45-minute lecture on astrophysics at Science City, Kolkata on Nov 5, 2019. The lecture was delivered by science educator Samir Dhurde. The students also made models of an advanced spectroscope with cardboard.
