World’s largest Djembe ensemble
The world’s largest ensemble of Djembe (also Djambe), a West African percussion instrument, was conducted by a group of 640 artistes gathered at the Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India on Jan 26, 2018. The 6-minute event was organised by Drums India and Sri Veena Vani Music School under the leadership of Dr B Gireesh Kumar.
