World’s Largest Puthanpana Mass Recitation
Mathruvedhi, Archdiocese of Thrissur conducted the world’s largest Puthanpana mass recitation for 14.5 minutes at the premises of Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral, Thrissur, Kerala, India on Dec 16, 2024. A group of over 3,100 mothers from various parishes of the archdiocese recited the 12th ‘padam’ (chapter) of the famous Malayalam poem dealing with the life of Jesus Christ, written in the early 18th century by German missionary Arnos Pathiri (Johann Ernst Hanxleden).
