World’s longest banner
The United Democratic Front (UDF) of Kerala, India displayed a 70 km long and 1 m wide cloth banner along the national highway stretching from State Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram to District Collectorate Kollam on Feb 6, 2018. The banner bearing 1,08,43,450 signatures of common people, collected during a state-wide signature campaign led by Leader of Opposition Ramesh Chennithala, was made up of smaller banners stitched together. It was displayed for 3 minutes with the help of around 20,000 people.
