World’s longest temple flag
The District Administration, Panchmahal in association with Labh Decorators, Ahmedabad unfurled the world’s longest temple flag, 2,964 metres in length, at Pavagadh Temple in Godhra, Gujarat, India on Dec 21, 2018. The triangular flag of Mahakali Mataji, with a width of 9 feet (2.74 m) narrowing down to 2 feet (61 cm), was made of Chanderi fabric. As many as 1,864 persons were involved in the event, held as part of Panch Mahotsav 2018-19 celebrations.
